How to customize wallet activity notifications

Wallet activity notifications on MetaMask can help you keep up to date with successful transactions, including sending or receiving ETH and tokens, staking and unstaking ETH, and other actions such as bridging, swapping, and buying crypto.

Notifications are enabled by default on Extension and Mobile. You can customize these or turn it off within settings.

How to manage notifications

MetaMask monitors blockchains for you and sends you push notifications when relevant events occur to your addresses, such as receiving tokens, NFTs, or unstaking.

• Click the menu icon in the top-right of your MetaMask, and select 'Notifications', the first item on the list.

• Select the gear icon to access notification settings.

• You can turn off all notifications, product notifications, or only enable activity notifications for certain accounts on this page.

• Tap the bell icon in the top-right of your MetaMask to bring up notifications.
• Tap the gear icon to access notification settings.
• You can turn off all notifications, product notifications, push notifications, or only enable activity notifications for certain accounts on this page.

• You can sign into MetaMask Portfolio with your MetaMask wallet and get wallet activity notifications directly within the dapp.

• If you haven't yet opted into wallet notifications, you'll see a popup next to the bell icon in the top-right of the dapp, announcing the option. Click 'Enable' to proceed.

• You can manage your notifications within settings here.
