Disconnect wallet from a dapp

Looking to disconnect your wallet from a dapp?
Below are the methods for both MetaMask Extension and MetaMask Mobile. For more detailed information about permissions surrounding dapps, see our User Guide here, our token approvals explainer or this blog post.
Disconnecting vs. revoking approvals: not the same thing
Following the steps below will only disconnect your wallet from the dapp. Depending on what it originally requested, this will prevent it from viewing your public address, wallet contents, transaction history, and even the ability to initiate transactions.
It will not revoke any token approvals that you have in place with that dapp, meaning that even if you disconnect the dapp, it may still be able to access and move your tokens. For more information on revoking approvals, see this article, or our Twitter thread.

With version 6.0 of the app, we've improved how you manage dapp connections. You can now alter them specifically for each dapp, rather than erasing them all simultaneously. However, if you still want to disconnect from all sites simultaneously, click here or scroll down.
-
Open the browser and use the search bar or type the URL of the site whose permissions you want to manage:
-
Once on the site, tap the account icon in the top right-hand corner:
-
This will display which of your accounts are currently connected to the dapp. To manage this, tap 'Permissions' next to the site's URL.
-
Tap 'Revoke' if you want to remove the connection between the dapp and a specific account, or 'Revoke all' to disconnect all of your accounts:
To use these dapps in future, you must connect your account(s) again.
