How to quickly buy or sell a token in MetaMask Mobile

MetaMask Mobile lets you quickly buy or sell a token when navigating the app. Just look for the lightning icon in the search results or on an asset's details page. Tap it to quickly acquire or sell a token without going through the full swaps flow.

This feature is available on MetaMask Mobile v8.0.0 and above only.

Buy or sell a token from its details page

1. Navigate to an asset's details page by tapping any token on your homescreen.
2. Tap the lightning icon in the bottom navigation bar.
3. Toggle to switch between buying and selling.
4. Use the slider to set the amount you want to buy or sell.
5. Tap Pay with or Receive to select the token you want to spend or receive.
6. Review the quote and confirm the transaction.

Buy a token when searching in Explore

1. Tap the Explore tab.
2. Search for the token you want to buy.
3. Tap the lightning icon next to the token in the search results.
4. Use the slider to set the amount you want to buy.
5. Tap Pay with if you want to change the token you want to spend.
6. Review the quote and confirm the transaction.
