How many API keys can I have?

Infura offers the possibility to create additional API keys depending on your plan:

  • Free plan: one API key
  • Developer plan: up to five API keys
  • Team plans and higher: Unlimited API keys.

When creating a new API Key on the Infura tab of the MetaMask Developer dashboard, you might run into a "Key Creation Limit Reached" error. This means you have reached the maximum number of allowed API Keys in your Infura account.

Additionally, you can always remove existing API Keys from your account to make room to create new ones. Read more about deleting keys..
