How to send tokens from your account

Note:

Este artículo se centra en cómo enviar ETH y otros tokens que se ajustan al estándar ERC-20. However, the process is essentially the same regardless of the network you're using — just make sure you have enough of the network's native token to pay the network fee for the transaction.

When sending transactions on Ethereum Mainnet and BNB Smart Chain, you can choose to pay the network fee with the following tokens:

• USDT
• USDC
• DAI
• ETH
• wETH
• wBTC
• wstETH
• wSOL
• mUSD If you are on other networks, you will need to have enough of the network's native token to pay the network fee.

1. From the landing page of your MetaMask, make sure you're in the account from which you want to transact, and hit the 'Send' button in the middle of the screen.

3. Enter the amount of the token you want to send and click next.

4. Now you're presented with the estimated network fees of your transaction, which you can also adjust. Antes de hacer clic en "Confirmar" para proceder con la transacción es una buena idea comprobar la dirección del destinatario.

5. Luego será redirigido a la página principal donde podrá ver una lista de sus transacciones recientes en la pestaña "Actividad".

1. From anywhere in MetaMask, click the actions button in the middle of the tab bar. From here, tap the 'Send' button.

2. Ahora tendrá que ingresar la dirección a la que desea enviar. O bien pegue la dirección desde su portapapeles (es decir, otra aplicación) o seleccione una de su libro de direcciones.

3. Ahora se le llevará a una pantalla en la que se puede ingresar la cantidad que desea enviar. También podrá cambiar el tipo de token, si es necesario, al pulsar su nombre en el cuadro azul directamente sobre la cantidad.

4. Cuando pulse'siguiente', verá la pantalla de confirmación. Aquí verá los detalles de su transacción, incluida la tarifa de gas que va a pagar.

También podrá editar la configuración de gas para la transacción al pulsar la cantidad de ETH resaltada en el cuadro 'Tarifa de gas estimada'.

Tap 'Send' to confirm the transaction and finish the process.

Send and swap crypto at the same time

Siempre que envíe fondos de una cuenta a otra, puede elegir qué token desea gastar y seleccionar el token que la otra persona desea recibir. De esta manera, no tendrá que cambiar primero un token por otro y luego crear otra transacción para enviárselo a alguien, lo que le permitirá ahorrar tiempo y gas.

Para utilizar la función 'Enviar e intercambiar' de MetaMask:

1. Open MetaMask Extension and click 'Send'.

Notas

• When the transaction is successful, you will see the updated amount of the token balances, as well as the status of the transaction updated to 'Confirmed'.

• This process is exactly the same for ETH as it is for other ERC-20 tokens, but always make sure that, when sending ERC-20 tokens, the receiving account supports the tokens you are sending.
