Where to manage your card
To manage your card in MetaMask Mobile, tap the menu icon in the top right corner of the screen. Then, select 'MetaMask Card'. If you haven't logged into your card account with MetaMask Mobile yet, you'll be prompted to do so.
If you've linked your Money Account, you can mange your card directly from your Money Account. In MetaMask Mobile, tap 'Money' in the bottom navigation bar, and then tap 'Manage' in the card section.
You can also manage your card through a web dashboard by visiting card.metamask.io.
Link and unlink your Money Account
Link your Money Account and MetaMask Card to spend directly from your Money Account, earn APY on your funds, and claim your mUSD back directly to your Money Account. Once the two are linked, you can also manage your card directly from your Money Account.
To link your Money Account, tap 'Link Money Account'.
To unlink your Money Account, tap 'Unlink Money Account'.
Claim rewards
You can view and claim your mUSD back by tapping '1% mUSD back'. If your Money Account is linked, you can claim your rewards directly to your Money Account with no associated fees.
If your Money Account is not linked, you can claim your rewards to your MetaMask wallet, but network fees may apply.
View card details
You can view your card details by tapping 'View card details'. This will show you your card number, expiration date, and CVC.
Click 'Hide card details' to hide your card details when you're done.
View PIN
To view your card's PIN, click the 'View PIN' button.
Note: For the Virtual card, only users in the United States can view their card's PIN.
Freeze Card
To temporarily pause any activity on your card, toggle the ‘Freeze card’ switch to on.
To unfreeze your card, toggle the switch back to off. This allows you to start making transactions again.
Manage card spending
To control what tokens your card can spend, you need to set spending limits. You can also revoke spending limits you've previously set.
When you link your Money Account, your card will spend funds from your Money account directly. If you've not linked your Money Account, your card will spend funds from your MetaMask wallet.
Approve card spending
To approve card spending, you need to set a spending limit. You can set a spending limit for a specific amount of a token, or you can approve card spending to use as much of the selected token as you have in your account.
The process differs depending on whether you've linked your Money Account. When you link your Money Account with your MetaMask Card, the Money Account will become your primary funding source. If you want to spend with a different asset, such as USDC on Linea, you'll need to unlink your Money Account to do so.
- Spending from Money Account
- Spending from other MetaMask accounts
If your Money Account is linked, your card will automatically set a spending limit with full access to the funds in your Money Account. To change this limit, tap 'Manage limit'.
Then, tap the dropdown next to 'Spending limit'.
A pop-up will appear that shows two spending limit options: 'Full access' and 'Spending limit'. To allow your card to spend as many funds as you have in your Money Account, select 'Full access'. To set a specific spending limit, such as 100 mUSD, select 'Spending limit', and then enter the amount you want to spend.
You will be charged a small network fee to set the spending limit, so we recommend allowing full access to your Money Account, or setting a high spending limit that will not require frequent updates.
Tap 'Manage limit'.
Select the account you want to approve spending from by selecting the dropdown next to the account name. You will see all the accounts you have in your MetaMask wallet.
Then, select the token you want to spend with. You will see all the eligible tokens in your region. Tokens you already have approved spending limits for will say 'Enabled'. Tokens you have no spending limits for will say 'Not enabled'.
Finally, select if you would like to automatically approve card spending with 'Full access', or if you would like to set a specific limit with 'Spending limit'.
Click 'Confirm' when you are done. You will see a confirmation pop-up that shows the details of your spending limit, plus a network fee estimate. Every spending limit you set will be charged a small network fee, so we recommend allowing full access to your account, or setting a high spending limit that will not require frequent updates.
The 'Full access' option allows MetaMask Card to use as much of the selected token as you have in your account.
For example, to give MetaMask Card access to all your mUSD in a given account, you should select ‘Full access. This option will let MetaMask Card draw upon any mUSD in the selected account, including any new mUSD that you add to the account later.
Once you’ve selected ‘Full access', your MetaMask will ask you to confirm this decision. On the pop-up signature page, the spending cap will be auto-populated as an impossibly high quantity of that token, effectively providing MetaMask Card with continuous access to the token.
Alternatively, the 'Spending limit' option allows you to set a specific amount of a token that MetaMask Card can spend.
For example, if you want to give MetaMask Card access to 250 mUSD, you should select 'Spending limit', and then enter 250.00 mUSD.
Once you’ve selected 'Spending limit', your MetaMask will ask you to confirm this decision. On the pop-up signature page, you will see the amount you specified, in this case 250 mUSD, as the spending cap amount.
Once you’ve set the spending limit, you should see your new card balance on the ‘Overview’ homepage. This amount will reflect the new token and the amount available for use in your account.
Revoke tokens
If you’ve given MetaMask Card access to a token, you can revoke that access by using the same spending limit feature.
Click ‘Manage limit’ and select the token that you want to revoke access to.
Then, click 'Spending limit' and enter 0.
A confirmation will appear in MetaMask, asking if you would like to revoke the spending cap you had previously set. Click 'Confirm'. This will revoke MetaMask Card’s access to this token.
You can also revoke token delegation in MetaMask Portfolio. Head to MetaMask Portfolio and click ‘Revoke’ on the delegated token.
Add and remove approved accounts
The process for managing accounts that MetaMask Card can spend from is the same as the process for managing spending limits. Simply add a new spending limit to add a different account, or revoke a spending limit to remove an account.
Add digital wallet

Change spending priority
If you do not have your Money Account linked, you can have multiple tokens approved for spending. You can set a spend priority, which tells the card which token to spend first. Once you run out of this token, the card will start drawing upon the next token in the priority list.
To set a priority order, tap 'Change asset'.
If you have delegated multiple tokens to MetaMask Card, you can set a spend priority, which tells the card which token to spend first. Once you run out of this token, the card will start drawing upon the next token in the priority list.
