Use your card
Once you’re all set up with your MetaMask Card, it’s time to start spending! You can choose to either use your card details directly online anywhere MasterCard is accepted, or choose to add it to a digital wallet, such as Apple Pay or Google Wallet.

You can use your MetaMask Card anywhere MasterCard is accepted, either online or in real-life.
Use your card details
In your MetaMask Card dashboard, click the ‘View card details’ toggle to find your card number, expiration date, and CVC. You can use these details on any website that accepts MasterCard as a payment method.
If you need to find your card's PIN, head to the 'Manage' tab on your card's web dashboard and click 'View PIN'. A pop-up will appear with your card's four digit PIN code.
Use Apple Pay
You can add your card details to Apple Pay, so you can use your card in physical locations, as well as on any website/app that supports payments through Apple Pay.

Use Google Pay
If you are an Android user, you can also add your card details to Google Wallet. You can then use your MetaMask Card in any app that supports Google Wallet, or physically in-store.

Card benefits
MetaMask Card offers several benefits to help you get the most out of your card. Metal Card holders receive additional benefits, such as extra cashback on eligible transactions and travel bookings. For a full list of Metal benefits, see here.
The following benefits are available to both Virtual and Metal Card holders.
mUSD cashback
MetaMask Card offers mUSD cashback on every eligible transaction. Simply tap your card and earn 1% back in mUSD with Virtual card, or, with Metal card, 3% back on the first $10,000 spent each year and 1% thereafter.
To redeem your mUSD cashback, navigate to the Card's web dashboard. At the bottom of the 'Overview' tab, you will see a 'mUSD Cashback' section. Click 'Claim' to redeem your mUSD and add them to your connected account.
To see your cashback history, navigate to the 'mUSD Cashback' tab. You'll see a list of your recent transactions and the amount of mUSD cashback each transaction earned.
MetaMask Card Travel
As a MetaMask Card holder, you'll also receive extra cashback on your travel bookings through MetaMask Card Travel.
MetaMask Card Travel is a partnership with Entravel providing travel discounts and other perks, such as paying for your travel with crypto. As a MetaMask Card holder, you'll receive extra cashback on your travel bookings.
When you book a hotel through MetaMask Card Travel, you automatically receive 4% cashback applied directly at checkout. If you use your Metal Card, you receive an additional 3% cashback, for a total of 7% cashback. Virtual Card users receive an additional 1% cashback, for a total of 5% cashback.
To get started, head to MetaMask Portfolio and click the 'Travel' tab.
Blackbird dining rewards
As a MetaMask Card holder, you can earn accelerated dining rewards through Blackbird.
Blackbird is a dining loyalty program for over 1,000 independent restaurants in the US. When you dine at participating restaurants and pay through the Blackbird app, you earn $FLY, Blackbird’s rewards currency. The more $FLY you earn, the better your access to dining perks and rewards, like priority reservations and invitations to new restaurant openings.
When you use your MetaMask Card in the Blackbird app, you earn 5X $FLY for every dollar you spend. If you’re new to Blackbird, you’ll also receive a 2,000 $FLY welcome bonus.
Metal Card holders earn 7X $FLY for every dollar spent and can opt in to activate a 90-day trial of Blackbird Club Regular status, the second‑highest tier. If you spend $1,000 within the first 90 days, you’ll retain Club Regular status through December 31, 2027.
To get started:
- Download the Blackbird app
- Add your MetaMask Card as your default payment method
- Make a reservation anywhere in the network and tap in at the Blackbird puck when you arrive
- After your meal, let your server know you’re paying with Blackbird and settle the check in the app using your MetaMask Card.
Transaction fees
When you use MetaMask Card, your tokens are instantly converted into fiat, and exchanged to the correct currency. The token’s fiat value and the conversion rate are calculated at the time of the transaction.
You will also be charged a minimal fee for each transaction:
- When you use stablecoins like USDC and USDT on Linea, you’ll be charged the Linea gas fee, which is variable, but typically $0.02.
- When you use a non-stablecoin like wETH on Linea, you’ll be charged the Linea gas fee, which is variable, but typically $0.02. You’ll also be charged a swap fee of 0.875%.
Note: gas fees vary by network. For Monad, you will not be charged a gas fee.
After a transaction is completed, you can check your ‘Statement of Transactions’ in the ‘Manage’ tab to view the details of the transaction, including conversion rate, fee, and how many tokens were used.
