My points didn't show up after completing a trade.
If your points didn't show up after waiting, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The points value of the trade was less than 1.
- The swap was not on one of the following networks: Ethereum Mainnet, Linea, OP Mainnet, BSC, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, Avalanche, zkSync, Monad, TRON, or Solana.
- One or more underlying assets does not have accurate pricing data.
- The swap or bridge did not involve any fees.
- The account used to make the trade was not opted in to the Rewards program.
- The trade was not done from the MetaMask mobile app or MetaMask extension
If you are confident that you did not receive points for qualified trading activity, please reach out to our support team.
I completed some trades after Season 1 started, but before I signed up for Rewards. Can I get points for those trades?
The rewards program requires a valid sign-up to award points. Unfortunately, we cannot issue points for trades made without a valid sign-up. Make sure to sign up for Rewards and link your accounts to maximize your points.
Can I opt out of MetaMask Rewards once I’ve already started?
You can, but doing so will reverse all of your progress, and you will restart at 0 points if you ever want to sign up later.
If you would still like to opt out, head to the ‘Rewards’ tab, click settings in the top right corner, and then click ‘Opt out’.
Why is Rewards asking for permission to track my activity?
In order to calculate your points, MetaMask Rewards tracks your trading activity on each account that you add to the program. We do not share this data with third parties and we never sell your data.
