What is MetaMask Rewards?
MetaMask Rewards is the official loyalty program for MetaMask. Eligible trading transactions, such as Swaps and perps, earn you points towards rewards: lower transaction fees, token allocations, exclusive offers, and more.

How does MetaMask Rewards work?
As you participate in the rewards program, you’ll rank up through different levels. Each level represents the points you’ve earned and provides different tiers of rewards.
Every time you make an eligible transaction, you’ll earn points. The amount of points you have earned determines what reward level you are in. The higher the level, the better the rewards 🚀📈🌕.
How do I earn reward points?
You can earn points by using MetaMask’s core trading features, such as swaps and perps, and by referring others to join MetaMask Rewards.
Points are awarded in proportion to the value of your transaction, so the more a transaction is worth, the more points you’ll receive.

You can see an estimate for how many points you will earn while confirming each eligible transaction. This estimate can vary slightly from the actual amount, but should give you a good idea before submitting your transaction.
Occasionally, MetaMask might offer bonus multipliers for a specific network, token, or time window. During these limited-time offers, eligible transactions will earn their typical points multiplied by the advertised number, such as “transactions on Linea earn 2x the number of points for the next seven days.”
Good news! Your historical MetaMask usage awards you a loyalty bonus per address for Season 1, and your participation in Season 1 may lead to more rewards in the future. For more information, check out the ‘Active Bonuses’ of Season 1.
How many points do I earn for each activity?
After signing up for MetaMask Rewards, you earn points by trading in MetaMask and referring others. The following table shows which actions are eligible for points, and how many points you can earn based on the transaction’s equivalent value in USD.

*Supported networks are Ethereum Mainnet, Linea, OP Mainnet, BSC, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, Avalanche, zkSync, Sei, and Solana.
The points you earn scale in proportion to the transaction amount. For example, if you swap $50 worth of USDC on Ethereum Mainnet, you’ll receive 40 points.
MetaMask Card transactions on Linea will be added as an eligible reward action later in Season 1; keep an eye out for official announcements.
MetaMask uses the USD value of the token you’re transacting with at the time the transaction is confirmed on chain.
For example, if you swap 2 ETH into USDC, your points are calculated by the value of ETH in USD at the time that the swap is confirmed on chain. Because of this, the estimated points shown on the transaction’s confirmation screen may differ slightly from the actual points earned.
What are bonuses?
Bonuses are extra points awarded when you complete a certain action. For example, signing up for MetaMask Rewards in Season 1 automatically awards you a bonus of 250 points. Keep an eye out for available bonuses as seasons progress.
What are boosts?
Boosts are multipliers that increase the number of points earned for specific actions. For example, MetaMask swaps on Linea earn 2x the amount of points as the same swap would on a different network.
You can earn additional points in a single trade from multiple boosts. For example, if a 100% boost is active for swaps on Linea, and another 50% boost is active for swaps made using the mobile app, those can be combined for a total 150% boost (a 2.5x multiplier).

How do referrals work?
Your MetaMask Rewards profile comes with a unique referral code. When somebody uses your referral code to sign up, that person will automatically receive 250 additional points as a bonus. As the referrer, you will receive additional points whenever someone you referred earns points of their own.
You can earn 10 points for every 50 points generated by a referred user through swaps and perps trades for the entirety of Season 1.
As an example, let’s say Person A sends their referral code to Person B. Person B signs up and automatically receives 250 bonus points. Then, Person B starts transacting and earning points. For every 50 points Person B earns from trading, Person A earns 10 points.
You won’t be able to see any addresses that use your referral code, but you will be able to see how many points they’ve earned.
You can refer an unlimited number of users, but you will only earn points for those users’ trading activity. You will not earn referral points from referrals they make.
What are Levels?
Levels are the milestones you’ve achieved based on the number of points earned. Every time you reach a new level, you unlock the associated rewards. For the specific rewards offered in the given season, check out our article 'Season hub'.

How do I get started?
Make sure you have version 7.57 or later of MetaMask Mobile. In the mobile app, click on the ‘Rewards’ tab at the bottom righthand of the screen to get started.

What data does MetaMask collect to use MetaMask Rewards?
For each address you have opted into MetaMask Rewards, MetaMask tracks the trades made through MetaMask Swaps and Perps. To accurately track your points, MetaMask stores the address that made the trade, the assets in the trade, and the dollar value of each trade. This information is only used to award points – we never share or sell your data.
