How to find a transaction ID

Every single transaction on the blockchain is assigned a unique transaction ID, also known as a transaction hash (or tx/txn for short). In simple terms, the hash is a condensed form of the transaction's data — including the addresses involved, the timestamp, and the quantity of tokens exchanged.

You can find and copy the transaction ID (hash) easily through a token's details page or the 'Activity' tab on Extension or Mobile.

Option 1: Via token activity

  1. On the 'Tokens' tab, click the desired token.
  2. Scroll down to 'Your activity'.
  3. Click the transaction to open its details.
  4. Click the copy icon next to 'Transaction ID'.

Option 2: Via the Activity tab

  1. Go to the 'Activity' tab.
  2. Scroll to find the transaction, or filter by network.
  3. Click the transaction to open its details.
  4. Click the copy icon next to 'Transaction ID'.

You can also select 'View on block explorer' at the bottom of the panel to see full transaction details — block explorers refer to the transaction ID as the transaction hash.
