- Linea Sepolia
- Sepolia
If you're looking to get started with developing on Linea, we highly recommend using the Linea Sepolia testnet, a sandbox environment made for developers where you can test your applications and dapps. Learn more about connecting to Linea with Infura.
Get Linea Sepolia ETH
We recommend you head to the Linea docs to see the latest information on the best ways to get Linea Sepolia ETH.
A testnet is a network used by developers to test out their applications and smart contracts without the risk of losing real ETH. The Sepolia testnet is one of several Ethereum testnets available, and the Infura faucet allows developers to easily obtain test ETH to use in their dapps.
Get Sepolia testnet ETH
Luckily for us, requesting some Sepolia ETH is a breeze!
-
Head on over to the Infura Sepolia faucet at docs.metamask.io/developer-tools/faucet/sepolia.
-
Log in to your Infura account, or create one if you're new to Infura.
-
Enter your Sepolia address, and click 'Receive ETH'.
-
...aaand, that's it! Wait for the confirmation, and you should see your Sepolia at the address you provided.
We highly recommend using MetaMask to interact with your Sepolia ETH, which already supports it by default. Not seeing Sepolia as one of the networks in the network selector? You might have to enable testnets in your MetaMask settings first.
