Note: With version 10.28.1, the name of this feature on MetaMask Extension changed from reset account to clear activity and nonce data. Both perform the same function, but in this article, we'll use the MetaMask Extension terminology (clear activity and nonce data) to refer to them both.

You should only clear your account activity when strictly necessary, most often to resolve stuck and pending transactions. Wij raden het af om je account te resetten, tenzij een van onze Support-medewerkers dit voorstelt.

Accountresets zijn vooral bedoeld voor ontwikkelaars, die het nuttig kunnen vinden om activiteit op een account in een testnetwerk te resetten terwijl ze hetzelfde account blijven gebruiken.

Het resetten van je account is alleen van invloed op het huidige netwerk. For example: if you're on BNB Chain, the only activity that will be cleared are your transactions on BNB Chain. Transactions on other networks, such as Ethereum, will be unaffected.

1. Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner, and then go to Settings > Advanced.

2. Scroll down to the 'Clear activity and nonce data' section and click the button.
