How to add a network

MetaMask lets you connect to many different networks. Some are pre-enabled while others appear under ‘Additional networks’ in the network selector and can be added with the ‘+’ icon. Check whether the network is already supported before adding it manually.

Adding a popular network

1. Click on the menu in the top right and select 'Networks'.

2. Scroll down until you see the 'Additional networks' section and click 'Add' next to the network you wish to add.

1. Tap the networks dropdown at the top of the 'Tokens' tab.

Добавление сети вручную

Добавление или редактирование URL-адресов RPC

Аббревиатура RPC означает удаленный вызов процедур (remote procedure call) — набор протоколов, которые позволяют клиенту (например, MetaMask) взаимодействовать с блокчейном. Вы можете добавить несколько URL-адресов RPC для одной сети и изменить URL-адрес RPC по умолчанию из списка сетей в настройках Расширения и Mobile.

Adding a custom RPC URL to Ethereum, Linea, Base, Arbitrum, or BNB Smart Chain RPC will disable Smart Transaction capabilities like MEV protection. To re-enable this, you'll need to switch back to the default RPC URL from network settings.

1. Click on the menu in the top right and select 'Networks'.

2. Click the 3 dots by the network you want to edit and tap "Edit".

3. Select the RPC URL dropdown field and click “Add RPC URL”.

4. Enter the URL, nickname, and click “Save” to save your configurations.

You can now toggle between various RPC URLs when you want to switch providers. Чтобы удалить любой URL-адрес RPC, выполните те же действия, что и выше, а затем нажмите на значок корзины, чтобы удалить его.

Networks across devices

Adding a network on one device does not mean it will appear on another device when accessing the same account. Если вы добавите сеть в Расширение, она не будет автоматически добавлена в приложение MetaMask Mobile и наоборот.

Custom networks will also need to be re-added if you uninstall the browser extension or mobile app (after which you'd need to restore your wallet using your Secret Recovery Phrase).

For another way of adding networks to MetaMask, go to chainid.network, where you can connect MetaMask and add networks with a few clicks.

2. Firstly, you'll need to connect your MetaMask to the site. Select 'Connect' in the top right to do so.

When successful, the address of our selected account will replace the 'Connect' button:

1. Head to the Chainlist site using the MetaMask explore tab.

When you're in the explore tab, you can search for the site using the search bar or you can tap the browser icon in the top right and navigate to https://chainid.network.

2. On Chainlist, you need to connect your MetaMask. When your wallet is connected, the selected account address will be displayed where the 'Connect' button was. If you want to change the account, you can tap the account icon in the top right and select the account you want to use.
