How to participate in MetaMask Rewards
MetaMask Rewards lets you earn rewards for trading in MetaMask, spending with MetaMask Card, and more. To start earning points for these rewards, you need to sign up for MetaMask Rewards.
The rewards program is currently in Season 1, the first of many. For more information on this specific season, such as exclusive Season 1 rewards, check out the 'Season hub' article.

How do I sign up?
Make sure you have version 7.57 or later of MetaMask Mobile. In the mobile app, click on the ‘Rewards’ tab at the bottom of the screen to get started.
You’ll be prompted to enter a referral code if you have one. Don’t have a referral code to enter? No problem, you can still get started right away by clicking 'Claim points'. From there, select the accounts you want to connect to MetaMask Rewards.
Right now, you need to manually add your Solana accounts to MetaMask Rewards. To do this, tap on the gear icon at the top of the Rewards tab, and then tap 'Not added'. From there, you can select the Solana account you want to add.
To track your rewards, MetaMask tracks the on-chain activity of the associated accounts. If you don’t see a certain account, make sure you have it added to the device you are using. You must add each account manually to MetaMask Rewards – just tap on the gear icon at the top of the Rewards tab to add accounts.
Once you’ve signed up, you’re ready to get started.
How do I earn points?
The following table shows what actions are eligible for points, and how many points you can earn based on the transaction’s USD value.

| Perps trades | 1 point for every $10 traded when manually opening or closing a position, or a take profit (TP) or stop loss (SL) trade is executed |

*Supported networks are Ethereum Mainnet, Linea, OP Mainnet, BSC, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, Avalanche, zkSync, Sei, and Solana.
The above amounts scale in proportion to the transaction amount. For example, if you swap $50 worth of USDC on Ethereum Mainnet, you’ll receive 40 points.
When completing a Swap or perps trade through MetaMask Mobile, you’ll see the estimated number of points your transaction will earn before you confirm it. If you swap with the same accounts in MetaMask Extension, you’ll earn points from those swaps too, even if an estimate is not shown.
MetaMask Card transactions will be added as an eligible reward action later in Season 1; keep an eye out for official announcements.
MetaMask uses the USD value of the token you’re transacting with at the time the transaction is confirmed on chain.
For example, if you swap 2 ETH into USDC, your points are calculated by the value of ETH in USD when the transaction is confirmed on chain. Because of this, the estimated points shown on the transaction’s confirmation screen may differ slightly from the actual points earned.
How do I check my progress?
You can check your progress by visiting the ‘Rewards’ tab on MetaMask Mobile. At the top of the screen, you’ll see your current level and points balance. You can also view your active boosts.
To get more information about levels, click the ‘Levels’ tab. On this tab, you’ll see your unlocked rewards and the rewards you’ll receive at the next level. You can claim unlocked rewards by clicking the ‘Claim’ button.
To track your progress, click on the ‘Activity’ tab. On this tab, you’ll see your points history, including all transactions that have earned points. Click on a transaction to see more details. This tab is also the best place to track your points from referrals.
How do I redeem my rewards?
To view and claim your unlocked rewards, head to the ‘Rewards’ tab on MetaMask Mobile. From there, click ‘Levels’. You’ll see a list of your unlocked rewards, and will have the option to claim the available rewards.
Some rewards require manual redemption; others will trigger automatically, and others will only be available for redemption at the end of the season. Rewards with time windows for redemption will be explicitly marked as such on the ‘Rewards’ tab in MetaMask Mobile. Some rewards have time limits, such as a 24-hour boost. Make sure you’re ready for this time window to start when you click claim; you won’t be able to turn it off, pause, or restart the time window once you’ve started it.
Rewards are season-specific. Once a season has ended, and designated claim windows have expired, you won’t be able to claim your unlocked rewards. Make sure to claim your rewards as you progress so you don’t miss out.
How do I refer someone to earn more points?
To get your referral code, open the ‘Rewards’ page on MetaMask Mobile. At the top of the screen, click the symbol of a person. From there, copy your referral code or link, or click ‘Refer a friend’ to be taken to the app of your choice.
You can track your points from referrals in the ‘Activity’ tab.
How do I add more accounts to my Rewards profile?
Tap the settings (gear) icon at the top of the Rewards section of MetaMask Mobile to go to the Settings page. From here you can add more accounts to your Rewards profile to aggregate your activity and earn more points. Note that hardware wallet accounts are not supported yet.
FAQs
My points aren’t showing up after completing a trade.
Points can take up to one hour to appear in your Rewards activity. If they don’t show up after waiting, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The points value of the trade was less than 1.
- The swap was not on one of the following networks: Ethereum Mainnet, Linea, OP Mainnet, BSC, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, Avalanche, zkSync, Sei, or Solana.
- One or more underlying assets does not have accurate pricing data.
- The swap or bridge did not involve any fees.
- The account used to make the trade was not opted in to the Rewards program.
- The trade was not done from the MetaMask mobile app or MetaMask extension

I completed some trades after Season 1 started, but before I signed up for Rewards. Can I get points for those trades?
The rewards program requires a valid sign-up to award points. Unfortunately, we cannot issue points for trades made without a valid sign-up. Make sure to sign up for Rewards and link your accounts to maximize your points.
Can I opt out of MetaMask Rewards once I’ve already started?
You can, but doing so will reverse all of your progress, and you will restart at 0 points if you ever want to sign up later.
If you would still like to opt out, head to the ‘Rewards’ tab, click settings in the top right corner, and then click ‘Opt out’.
Why is Rewards asking for permission to track my activity?
In order to calculate your points, MetaMask Rewards tracks your trading activity on each account that you add to the program. We do not share this data with third parties and we never sell your data.
