'Deceptive site ahead' when trying to connect to a site

Does this article need to be translated?

This warning message appears when you attempt to connect your wallet to a site that may be a phishing scam. It will look like this:

deceptive_site_ahead

We recommend you don't connect your wallet to sites that trigger this message.

To help keep your assets safe, MetaMask includes a security feature that scans URLs you interact with—whether you're browsing dapps in MetaMask Mobile or connecting to them through the Extension. This helps us detect and block potential phishing attempts before they can harm you.

Privacy

We understand that privacy is a top priority. That's why this feature is designed to preserve your privacy: Any sensitive data is stripped from the URLs before being sent for analysis, and your browsing history is never linked back to you personally.

This scanning process may involve sending the cleaned URLs to our servers and select third-party services. If you prefer not to use this protection, you can opt out at any time by navigating to Settings > Security & Privacy > Basic Functionality.

For more details, see our privacy policy.

Reporting

If you're the owner of the site and believe it has been wrongly marked as a potential scam, please log your case here: https://github.com/metamask/eth-phishing-detect/issues

One of our team will then review your case as soon as feasible and may whitelist your site depending on their findings.

You can also use this utility to check why your domain was blocked, and see here for the rationale behind blocklisted sites.
