MetaMask Card is currently in a pilot phase and is only available to MetaMask users in the UK, the EEA, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and the US (excluding New York and Vermont). We’re working hard to bring MetaMask Card to more people; stay tuned for updates!
MetaMask is launching a powerful new way to experience blockchain in your everyday life — the MetaMask Card. With MetaMask Card, your self-custodial MetaMask wallet meets the worldwide accessibility of Mastercard transactions.
What is MetaMask Card?
With MetaMask Card, you can spend your tokens on everyday transactions, both IRL and online, wherever Mastercard is accepted.
MetaMask Card gives you complete control over your funds. You’ll designate tokens from your MetaMask wallet, set spending limits, and have complete access to your funds until you complete a transaction. At the time of your transaction, the MetaMask Card converts your available tokens into fiat currency (e.g., euros, £).
Virtual Card and Metal Card
MetaMask Card is currently available as a virtual card only. However, MetaMask Metal Card is coming out soon, which will be a premium option you can opt into. Note that you must order a Metal Card to receive one; it will not be automatically sent to you.
Supported tokens
MetaMask Card currently supports USDC, USDT and wETH. For US users, USDC is the only supported token. Simply designate which tokens you would like to spend, set a spending limit, and tap MetaMask Card for instant payments.
Powered by Linea
MetaMask Card runs on Linea, a zkEVM blockchain powered by Ethereum. Linea has lower gas fees than Ethereum and processes transactions much more quickly, making it the ideal network for instant payments.
The Linea network is seamlessly integrated with MetaMask, allowing you to easily bridge and monitor funds right in your wallet. For more information on bridging to Linea, read here.

To bring you MetaMask Card, MetaMask has partnered with Crypto Life, a card program manager with Mastercard leading the way on web3 card initiatives.
Can I sign up for MetaMask Card?
Right now, MetaMask Card is only available to MetaMask users in the UK, the EEA, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and the US (excluding New York and Vermont).
If you're in an eligible country, open MetaMask Portfolio, and navigate to the 'Card' tab. You can start signing up right away. Follow along with our Getting Started guide for more information.
If you are not in an eligible country, don't worry! We're working hard to bring the card to more users. In the meantime, follow this link to join the waitlist.
