What is Authentication Error 403 - Forbidden?

Encountering a 403 - Forbidden when writing or reading objects with the Infura IPFS service? From August 2022, Infura requires every request to its IPFS service to be authenticated, and you might have to set the Authorization HTTP header if not set up previously.
