How to use price alerts and watchlist in MetaMask
MetaMask Mobile lets you track tokens easily with price alerts that notify you when a token hits your target price, and the watchlist that lets you monitor any token on your home screen.
Both these features are available in MetaMask Mobile (v8.6.0 and above).
You'll need notifications turned on to receive price alerts.
How to create a price alert
- Open MetaMask Mobile and tap a token to open its details page.
- Tap the bell icon to create a price alert.
- Enter a target price, or use the default buttons (-10%, -5%, +5%, +10%) to set a price relative to the current value.
- Toggle 'Recurring' on if you want the alert to notify you every time the token hits your target, not just the first time.
- Tap 'Set price alert'.
Price alerts work with tokens on the following networks:
Ethereum Mainnet · BNB · Polygon · Monad · zkSync · HyperEVM · Sei · MegaETH · Base · Arbitrum · Avalanche · Linea · Bitcoin · Solana · Optimism · Tron
How to manage your alerts

- Toggle the button next to an existing alert to pause or resume notifications.
- Tap the trash can icon to delete an alert.

- Tap the trash can icon to delete a token from your watchlist.
You can buy or swap any token directly from your watchlist. Tap the token, then tap the 'lightning bolt' icon to quickly buy or swap.
FAQs
What does the recurring toggle do?
With 'Recurring' toggled on, you are notified every time the token reaches your target price, for example every time ETH hits $2,194. With it toggled off, it only notifies you the first time the token reaches your target price and is then deactivated.
Can I set multiple alerts for the same token?
Yes. From the price alerts screen, tap 'Add alert' to create additional alerts for the same token.
Can I set a price alert for a token in my watchlist?
Yes. Tap any token in your watchlist to open its details page, then tap the bell icon to create a price alert.
Can I add tokens I don't own to my watchlist?
Yes. The watchlist is designed for tracking tokens you don't own. Simply search for the token you want to add and tap the star icon to add it to your watchlist.
